I graduated from John Marshall High School in 1974. I chose to work prior to college. I attended West Liberty State College as I was married by the time I decided to return to school. I graduated in 1983, at the same time my second son was due. I graduated with Highest Honors. I worked for several years before I decided that law school was the route I wanted to take. I attended Duquesne University on an academic scholarship and commuted from my home in Glendale, West Virginia in order to attend. I graduated in 1990. I was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio in 1991.

I joined the practice of Burech and Sargus upon my graduation from law school I moved my family to Belmont County, Ohio in order to become part of the community that I was serving.

I joined the firm of Lancione and Lloyd in 2008 as I saw it as a wonderful opportunity for me to grow as an attorney and expand the number of clients that I serve. I have handled numerous types of cases since I began practicing law. Presently I handle divorce, dissolution, custody, visitation, and all aspects of family law. I handle wills, estates and estate planning. I handle bankruptcy cases, workers' compensation, general civil litigation and appellate work.

I serve as the contract attorney with the United Mine Workers of America, District 31, Sub District 6. I am also a referral attorneyl for the Hyatt Legal Plan and the local National Education Association. I am also an assistant prosecuting attorney for Belmont County handling the appellate work.

I am a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Belmont County Bar Associate. I have served as secretary for of our local bar association the last 12 years.

I can practice in all Ohio courts and also in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

I have been active in the community as well as the legal field. I have been involved in Rotary, Tri-County Women's Help Center, St. Clairsville Little Devils wrestling, served as a coach in the St. Clairsville Rec league little boys basketball.

I am general counsel for the Wellness Bridge, Inc.

I have two sons, Morgan and Myles, and one grandson, Quentin.
